I sincerely congratulate pupils, teachers, students, lecturers, and education organizers on the Knowledge Day.
This is a truly national holiday that unites not only teachers and pupils, but also all those who has ever crossed the threshold of a classroom or a lecture hall.
I sincerely congratulate the boys and girls who sit down at a school desk. Special greetings for the first-formers who met their first teacher today - a person that will become a dear one for the whole life. I wish you interesting lessons, high marks, true friends and love for the Motherland!
Today is a special day in the life of an independent Ukraine its 17-year-old peers, those who were lucky to be born on the same day with the State, sit down at the student desks. You are a future national elite, young, ambitious and task-oriented. And it is you who is responsible for the future prosperity of the country.
I make a low bow to all the teachers for their great work, patience and dedication to their occupation. We recognize the priority of education in the social development, achievement of European living standards, and consolidation of Ukraine as an equal State among the highly developed countries.
